Built in 1937, Timberline Lodge has always been a grand refuge for visitors wanting to experience the magnificent and expansive high-alpine environment of Mt. Hood. With the land and historic lodge owned by the U.S. Forest Service, Timberline Lodge and Ski Area has been family-operated since May 1955. Just like many of our staff, we grew up skiing on Mt. Hood and generations of our families continue to come back to this special place: an experience we’re committed to sharing with our guests.
